Plans to introduce a drug-drive limit have edged closer as limits for 16 different drugs have been approved. Eight prescription and eight illicit drugs have been added to the regulations which will be introduced this autumn, meaning it’ll be an offence to be over the prescribed limits. Police will be clamping down on people who drive after taking drugs such as cannabis with a limit of 2 micrograms per litre (mcg/l), cocaine (10mcg/l) and ecstasy (10mcg/l) – while people who take prescription drugs like morphine (80mcg/l) and diazepam (550mcg/l) will also have to be careful not to break the limit.
Sharp-eyed Autoweek reader Robert Burkhardt has sent us a photo of what appears to be a camouflaged Jaguar F-Type caught driving in the mountains near Denver. Jaguar hasn't exactly been shy about showing off the F-Type in recent months. Volkswagen has revealed an upgraded Scirocco, which will make its world premiere at the Geneva motor show in early March. Among the changes to Wolfsburg’s 6-year-old coupe are some subtle exterior changes, higher quality interior, and new four-cylinder engines, including a 276-hp version of Volkswagen’s EA888 turbocharged 2.0-liter in the new top-of-the-range Scirocco R. Other engines include a 1.4-liter, 123-hp four and a 2.0-liter producing 177 hp, 217 hp or 276 hp.
